The gang has now promised to kill the police officer who killed their member

A video that has been doing rounds online showing plain clothed men believed to be police officers executing a suspected robber in Eastleigh, Nairobi sparked emotions from Kenyans and the world.

The gang has now responded to the killings saying they are planning to revenge their members. Taking to Facebook, a member of the gang allegedly posted a post saying that the officers who are responsible for the actions must also die for killing their friends.

On Saturday, April 1 the two gangsters were killed in broad daylight at Eastleigh. One of them was identified at Waga Haji, a young man suspected to be part of Gaza gang in Eastleigh which is responsible for several crimes among them killing police officers. The amateur video was shared online by a visibly shaken passenger who recorded the happenings on her mobile phone.

Many Kenyans commended the police for doing a good job saying the gangsters had no mercy and have been killing people during petty theft. Human rights groups condemned the shooting, terming it extra judicial as police bosses defended the act, saying the criminals had recently shot dead two police officers and terrorized residents of Eastlands, Nairobi.
